For us, it is to see more of the world. Our memories is one of the things that we will cherish in old age and travelling will ensure that we have a lot of that. And of course making the most of everyday, through eating well and taking care of our body etc.

I could sign my name to your answer, Nina, because that is the way my husband and I decided to respond to our situation. I could add that our little dog brings us joy and company. It is part of our family together with the goldfish!

I am glad to hear that Mayflower. There are so many other ways to have a fulfilled and happy life other than through children. I suppose it is up to each individual to see it that way and make the most of whatever their circumstances are.

Definately taking care of our health, getting plenty of exercise. We want to be fit and healthy as we age. We'd like to travel and have a home that's happy and full of love.Connecting with each other is important too so i make sure we always have a meal together every night and the odd date night is great.

Being fit and healthy is something we believe in too. My husband cycles, while I exercise from home. We enjoy walking in the countryside and do so once a week, weather permitting! We love our walking/hiking holidays too.

Hubby is giving me cycling lessons at the moment because i fell off twice last year and lost my confidence.I want to be able to enjoy cycling our usual country lanes again.

Best of luck with that. I can’t cycle. I was born and raised in the Ivory Coast (West Africa) and growing up, boys got bicycles for their presents, while girls got dolls. And so, I never learned to cycle. My husband tried to teach me a few years ago, but we had to call it a day, because I just could not grasp the whole concept. I guess learning such a skill becomes harder the older one gets! To be honest, I don’t feel too much at a disadvantage, because there is so much else that one can do. I do have a stationary bike that I use in my fitness regime.
